Christmas is in december

Yes, I know that but I want to talk about Christmas, can I? It is better to talk about it now because if I write about it in December this poor blog will have to compete with millions of sites. I hate competition.

I don´t know you but I like to be ready for Christmas a long time before December. If I have to buy gifts I like to search for them in October because things are not expensive yet and I can go to the stores and it is a nice experience. In December it is crazy.

There are other things that you can think about before December. Christmas invitations, decoration, planning a nice party.

Plan ahead is the best solution for everything in life, I believe. So take a time now to plan your Christmas and I am sure you will have a wonderful time later.

Sinks that make your house more elegant

I would love to know how to make my house look more elegant. I know they invented decorators exactly for that purpose, but I can´t afford a decorator.

I have seen some houses that have just a few details that make all the difference. A vase on the table, a frame on the wall or one of those vessel sinks that make your bathroom look so beautiful.

I try to buy some magazines and I have tried to use some of the ideas they give. It is difficult though. I have to be careful because if I don´t find the right piece of decoration I will try to adapt something else. It can be a disaster in my case.

I must say that the thing I bought that way and I never regreted the decision is a bathroom cabinet. If I had a vessel sink it would be perfect. Next project? I hope so.

A few books that I love

I don´t know if you have heard about Sharon Shinn. She is an amazing writer. I have read some of her books and I loved them all.

I read the Samaria series. These book tell us the stories of another planet where people live among angels. The stories are so incredible that you feel like you know those characters.

Laptops and other things

I have talked about my new laptop here but I wanted to add some things. After a few weeks using it I need to say that Vista is not that bad, having a smaller screen is a good thing, and it is possible to play 3D games for hours without crashing the computer.

This notebook is amazing. I am sure it is not the best ever but for me it is just perfect. It has a very good processor, a good video card and lots of memory.

One of the things I really liked is the hability to ready a memory stick. Not only one type actually. It can read 5 different cards. It is a good thing because I have a memory stick in my camera. Everytime I wanted to transfer my photos to the computer I had to hunt for the cable. It was so stressing.

Now things are so easier that I can´t believe. And this computer has bluetooth as well. It is easy to transfer files from my cell phone now.

I am really happy with it. I hope it will last four or five years.

I have had many problems with my teeth for many reasons and I try to take good care of them because I don´t like going to the dentist. That´s the truth. I don´t like because it is not so pleasant, obviously, and because it is expensive.

I just learned about a way to spend less when we go to the dentist. Usually people use a dental insurance and that could be a great choice but there is another option called discount dental plans.

They are affordable, you don´t have to fill tons of forms and are very easy to use. Contrary to discount dental plans, dental insurance require that you pay monthly premiums, you have to respect a maximum spending limit, for some procedures you will have to wait for long periods for approval.

Things are different with discount dental plans as they are very affordable to join and don´t have all those limitations. You will pay a membership fee so you can get access to discounts in dental services like exams, x-rays, root canals, gum surgery, dental implants, fillings and many other services.

Things are changing now. You don´t have to be afraid of a dentist anymore. At least you don´t have to be afraid of the bill the dentist will show you.
