Nothing to do the weekend
I don´t know how things are in the rest of the world but here we have a big problem the weekends. There is nothing to see on television. I am glad that I decided to get Direct TV because at least I can watch some movies.
This weekend was different though. I went to a wedding on Saturday and today I had a lot of things to do. But usually I don´t have many options, so I watch movies on directtv. I love to watch series but right now there is no new episodes so I watch reruns.
Cable TV is a lifesaver. It doesn´t matter if it is directv or any other. Even if you don´t watch all the movies or series at least you have an option.
Law and Order and other series
I am crazy about television series but I am not watching no series right now. After that strike the writers made the series I like to watch disappeared here. I don´t know what happened with Lost, Heroes and Law and Order, for instance.
It is a shame. I really want to follow the adventures of Jack Bauer, for instance. But it seams that I will have to wait for a possible new season only next year.
I guess I will have to watch the previous seasons because I won´t remember anything after so many months.
As for the other series I mentioned I don´t even know what is going to happen. Maybe I am cured from my series addiction after all.
I hope not!
Where is Jack Bauer?
I miss Jack Bauer. Yes, it is possible. I miss the series so much. They say the next season will be presented only next year.
I keep wondering if fans will be loyal and watch it when it comes out. I lost interess in Lost and Heroes and I guess many people did lose the interess as well not only in Lost and Heroes but in 24 too.
It is sad because those series need to be watched season after season. If the period of time between one season and the other is too wide then people would have to watch all the previous seasons only to remember what happened before.
I don´t know if I am going to do that with Lost and Heroes. Maybe with 24 I will do that because I love Jack!
Things I like to buy
There are some things I like to buy for no reason. I love to buy note books (those made of paper) and pens. I used to write a lot, usually X-Files fanfics and I would use an entire note book in a few months. I used really nice pens and they were quite expensive. I liked to get those promotional pens because they are free and sometimes I would get a good one.
Nowadays I am not writing that much but I still buy pens and note books. If you want to give me a gift go ahead and buy me a good pen and I will be happy.
