What did you get for Christmas
One day after Christmas night and we see a lot of people talking about gifts. Usually I hear about perfumes or clothes but today a friend of mine told me she got a laptop from her husband.
This is a nice gift. I gave myself that same gift a few months ago and I can´t imagine a better present.
Anyway, I guess it is not a common gift because this friend of mine was expecting to get a jewelry. She seamed a little disappointed.
It is impossible to make everyone happy, isn´t?
Crazy about technology
I am crazy about gadgets and computers. I wish I was an expert but I am not. I have a brother who knows everything about computers (or almost everything) and I try to be like him but it look likes I will never be able to understand a lot of technical stuff.
Sometimes I read some stuff about telecommunications, like cell phones and things like that. You may have seen some of my posts about that. Like the one about Cisco computers. When people see me writing things like that they think I am an expert. It is not true but it is not totally false. I make a lot of researches about the things I write about.
How could I write about computers, gadgets, software and firewalls if I don´t do a research first?
The fact that I love technology is a good thing. I love to read about servers and programming. It is easier to learn something if you like the subject.
I wanted to transform this blog in a technology blog but I am not sure if I could write everyday about so many unknown subjects. My brother would be a great tech blogger, though.
All that fuzz about IPhone
A few months back all we hear was how great Iphone was and how many hours people would spend on line waiting for a release. In my country they are selling IPhone with 3G technology now and a lot of people wanted to pay tons of money just to have one of those.
I didn´t have that kind of money so I didn´t even search for it. I bought a Nokia N95 and I am really happy about it.
It would be nice to have a phone with touchscreen but other than that I don´t see why I should buy an IPhone instead of an N95.
It looks like the fuzz about Iphone is over anyway. No one is talking about it anymore. I don´t see people using IPhones here. They are so expensive that it is dangerous to use them on the streets.
I think an N95 is more discrete and this is a good point. And it is beautiful as well. See the picture and fall in love with it.
