Why it is a good thing to buy books online
A few years ago I wanted to buy some books. No problem about that. There are many bookstores everywhere. My problem was I live in Brazil and the books I wanted were in English. They were difficult to be found here and even when I did find them their price were too high.
Then I found out about Amazon books. At that store I bought online for the first time. It was a good experience. The books arrived very soon and I didn´t pay taxes because there is a law here in my country that says that books are not taxable.
After that I bought other things online, but I think buying books is the best thing. Amazon has a system now that allows us to see the book inside so we can chose better. Too bad they don´t work with Paypal. I would benefit from it because I wouldn´t have to use my credit card.
Perfect weather to read a book
As I was saying before, it is raining here right now. I like this weather only because it is cold and it is nice to be at home reading a book.
Usually I turn on my table lamp and I try to forget my computer for a while. The sound of the rain is soothing and it makes me sleepy really fast, but it is nice.
I will go home in a few minutes. I know I will get a lot of traffic but the reward is to get home and go to bad. I am just thinking about the book I am going to chose.
Or maybe I will watch some television series, who knows.
A few books that I love
I don´t know if you have heard about Sharon Shinn. She is an amazing writer. I have read some of her books and I loved them all.
I read the Samaria series. These book tell us the stories of another planet where people live among angels. The stories are so incredible that you feel like you know those characters.
The Samaria series is formed by these books:
- Archangel
- Jovah’s Angel
- The Alleluia Files
- Angelica (Although this is the fourth novel in the Samaria series, it is set before the first book Archangel)
- Angel-Seeker
