A little thing about backlinks

Some months ago I learned that having a site well visited was not the only requirement to get a high pagerank.

I found out that I should find a way to make other sites link to mine, so I would have more backlinks. A site needs strong backlinks so it will be more valuable for Google and the pagerank will go up.

I joined the dofollow movement and I started to make comments in other blogs, even in blogs that are not in that movement. It doesn´t matter if the other blog has a high PR.

The most important thing is that your blog will get more visitors if you leave comments in other blogs.

So, if you want a tip of how to get a high pagerank, remember that backlinks+content=higher PR.

Now let me tell you a funny thing about backlinks. A few months ago I wrote a post about backlinks in my language. I talked about backlinks, Google and many other related subjects. The word backlinks is on title and I used that word a few times in the text, but it is not an anchor text.

Another day I was searching for more information about backlinks and I typed that word in Google search. The funny thing is that my post is first one in results, first page.

It is weird because I know blog posts are not that valuable when it comes to SEO and the word backlinks is not an anchor text.

I don´t know how this happened.

I am writing this post because I want to test things. I want to see if this post will have the same treatment even when I use the keyword as an anchor text.

In a few days I will tell you what happened.
