Vision problems

Since I was a child I had vision problems. I dreamt about getting rid of my glasses. I was always losing them and my mother would lecture me forever when I did that.

She tried really hard to find a beautiful pair of glasses so I wouldn´t lose them. She thought I lost my glasses because I didn´t like them. It was not the case. I didn´t care about using them. The problem was that I was always distracted. I wanted to play and I would take off the glasses. Then I would just forget about them.

When I was a teenager I wanted my sight to be perfect. I wanted to go to the cinema and watch a movie without glasses. It was impossible though. If I did that I wouldn´t be able to read the subtittles.

Then one day, when I was an adult, I found out about a surgery. I am not sure about it but it seams that the technic they used is called Lasik. I know they used laser, so I am assuming it is the same.

I remember that the surgery was totally painless. It was very quick and I didn´t feel a thing while the doctor was doing and nor later.

It was the best thing I could have done. I don´t use glasses anymore and now I just forget pens and keys.

Nowadays I recomend this surgery to everyone. If you use glasses go see a doctor and see if you are a candidate to this surgery.
