IT certification

Many years ago, and I mean really a long time ago, my brother was only twelve years old and someone went to his school and offered a computer course. You see at that time there weren´t computers in every house, we had never heard about the Internet, Bill Gates was still working in his garage.

We didn´t understand why my brother was so excited about that course but my parents just let him do it and that was one of the most wise decision a person could make.

My brother works with computers nowadays. He loves it and he knows a lot of stuff. I wish I could turn back time and take that course myself. I have to say that I know how to do a lot of things that average users don´t know but I wish I could know more about computers.

I would never get to my brother level. He and his coworkers have gone through a lot of certification programs like the Cisco certification program. Cisco is a company that is the leading manufacturer of peripherals like switches and firewalls.

According to many sites I visited it is very important to have this certification since IT companies prefer to hire people with the certification. It is a matter of credibility and Cisco is a well known company.

You should take a look at their programs. If you work in this field I am sure you will agree that getting a certification is the best option.

It will be easier to find a really good job and you will get more chances of being successful.
